i don't do much music myself, but the people that i know, that use my older trackers, always wanted as many score lines, they said it gave a better overview of the score, so i just did what they ask for
but i also prefers it this ways, i also try to keep it simple, but sometime it can be a hard job to do, so i am glad that you like it
what can i say, i had said i did not want to make another tracker, but i was tired to use dosbox to play my old dos score, and i always wanted to make a real soft synth, so i had to do it 
but this will probably be my last tracker, the only one i am missing is one on the Atari that can play scores from my windows ym2149 player, i had started on it two times, but i went cold, but maybe one day i make it
