The amount of times I've done that, and thought I've cocked up a mod.

Everything else works though, she powers on and plays music.

I've googled and read other peoples posts about this, and often it seems the problem is the ribbon cable not being plugged in all the way. I'm sure mine is.

I'm worried I might have manipulated the ribbon cable to much, I was as careful as possible but it was obnoxious trying to weasel the thing out, and get it back in. (way harder than my CGBs!)

If the lcd or cable really is ruined, how can I get the cable out next time without breaking it?
