has anyone put together a tutorial to get a sp to play on a tv? I think i will midify this sp too.

You can't, The motherboards are different between the two verisons so you can't just swap the LCD.

The color on them looks much better as well. You cannot backlight the original sp much like you can't the gbc because of LCD design

You have to salvage a frontlight from an AGS-001 SP. The AGS-101 SP are backlit and the lighting is built into the LCD. You can't swap LCDs.

Nevermind, I don't touch 'em. Anyhow I don't think it is backlit; still frontlit. It just has two brightness options.
