EDIT:  what I mean to say is that starting with versions 1.5/2.5 there were no more batteries tongue

I attempted to open up the NL 2.6 GBA cart however the front panel would not slide down with ease. I assume that it's a chip on the board that is interfering with the sliding of the front panel and don't wish to break any of the little snaps on it.

Any help or information would be appreciated.
