The back-lit screen is very clear. I promise you. The photos aren't near as good as the real thing. As for the games, that depends on the buyer's personal taste.

You won't need to. This dmg is bright! The picture quality doesn't do it justice. I would equate this to the brightness level of the front-light model gba sp.
