Hello guys,
I´m a hobby chipmusic artist and all my prayers have been heard (build my own backlit DMG with biversion and Prosound mod ect.). I love LSDJ but I also love the old Gameboy game times. The problem is: With the current 64MB usb cartridges it is much easier these days to flash roms on a cartridge (I still know the hard times when I had to get (or keep an old) computer with serial port just for flashing my cartridge for my DMG. Since then the only thing I ever wanted was a flashcard where I could store ALL of my old beloved gameboy games and LSDJ as well. I can do this with the usb 64MB cards but because of the fact that it only holds one save slot, I can´t start a game without deleting my LSDJ songs. Even when I don´t care about my LSDJ saves I can only play one game at a time until I finished it before starting another game which creates another save slot, deleting the old one (Not the case with Super Mario Land, Tetris and Dr, Mario of course but with Mario Land 2, Wario Land, Kirby ec. it is. Also an SD slot where you just could drag N drop the rome would be awesome (without the need to flash the card) despite the fact, that you have plenty of space on a sd card.

So my final question after waiting for years (without the talent, capabilities and knowledge to build my own . Why did nobody ever build such a thing? And if it is because of production costs: There is Kickstarter now and at least nowadays I would expect such a project to come up on Kickstarter. There was a project over at 8bitcollective a few years ago but I never heard anything about it again.

I really have no programming skills but hopefully somebody with some knowledge could clear it up for me, why such a card does not exist.
Or am I the only one wanting this? Please write to this post, if you are somebody that would also buy one of these.

Thanks a lot for the help and info in advance
Bonewire
