Which to my understanding is their clever way of making people pay for the new versions. My dad got locket out of his like that too. I would call them and have them explain how to fix it. Then turn off automatic updates.

You could also just try reinstalling the software. Make a backup of your windows data and make sure you turn off automatic updates when you reinstall.
