There are also a few voice recorders for psp homebrew, and this trick should work there as well on devices with built in mics (i think the psp 2000, 3000 and maybe go?). I dont have any of those so cant test it.

If you own a caanoo, you might notice that it has a mic on the front of it. Found out today that using the Caanoo voice recorder:
http://dl.openhandhelds.org/cgi-bin/caa … ,0,0,6,595

And editing your config.xml
http://wiki.littlegptracker.com/doku.ph … onfig#path
to
    <SAMPLELIB value="/mnt/sd/>

Allows you to:

1. Record a sample in the voice recorder. Take a note of the name that it shows what your sample will be.
2. Launch Piggy and go to load a sample, because of the above it will dump you in the root of the sd (note if you want to do the usb stick trick i posted here a while back, just drop the /sd from the xml).
3. Navigate to /music/rec and load your sample.

To me ears this doesnt sound like 44.1 sample quality, but who cares about that. Now you can sample vocals and ambient sounds without getting your crappy computer involved.
