			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;m pretty sure the 100,000 writes is a fact in the data sheet for that particular IC, not a variable in the code of sonic. 100,000 is quite a few saves my friend, so don&#039;t worry about it.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I realize this isn&#039;t a chiptune-related question, but this is relevant to the hardware itself and I thought that this would be the best place to ask it:</p><p>From what I heard about the ability to save your game in the Sonic 3 cartridge, it&#039;s not saved on a battery but on an NVRAM chip which has 100,000 re-write cycles. I also heard a rumor that you can reset the rewrite cycles if you use a game genie or a pro action replay. Is there any truth to those rumors? Or if I buy an unsavable Sonic 3 cartridge I&#039;m gefucked?</p>]]></content>
