More funky than I was expecting from a more authentic-sounding chiptune. I think it could use to bring in some chord elements (arpeggios, or just block chords in the background), but it's pretty good. I think you could spread out the lead / back-up / ambient "high background" synth; they all seem to focus in around 1 or 2 octaves. Pushing them around could be nice. Overall, this is really quite good for your first track.
