Xubuntu or Crunchbang would be good choices. Both are fairly lightweight compared to Bloatbuntu.

As for netbook-friendly trackers... Milkytracker, Klystrack, Deflemask, LSDJ (in an emulator such as Gambatte), LGPT, etc

I've seen a couple guys use them but I don't know what is or trackers they use. Right now it has Ubuntu but I don't know if that's my best option. Thanks -Payday tongue
