at the end my real concern is not really to acheive the best bass sound ever, I got plenty of time to engage on the path of perfectionnism... i'm searching for something simple and efficient
in a few days, i'll have to go to a jam session and the fact of being able to throw a cool, spontaneous beat and bass among the other instruments will kind of decide of ''chip or not to chip'' into the future formation (i'm not scared about my performance on the flute)

style will most propably turn arround ethno-dub that sometimes goes on punky jungle/dubstep
beats should be very simple (kick-snare-HH) not to orvecome tablas and cajon... bass should not get into (too much of a) conflict with the didgeridoo...

stupid question : did anyone ever try to use bass samples on wav channel with good result ?
I sometimes use samples of real instruments on the WAV channel. I don't think it would be a good fit for bass tones, though. The samples lose clarity and you can program some really great bass sounds on the WAV channel already.

I will have to create/modify my rythms and bass lines quickly during our first jam sessions (not started yet, waiting to get more comfortable on LSDJ) to match with the other instruments (tabla, guitar, flute, didgeridoo, yeah!), so i'd like to select some ''standard'' settings that could pass in various situations (and fine adjusting later at home) in order not to loose a lot of time/credibility...
