My experience of writing chipmusic has been 100% with Nanoloop 1.6 carts, so I've had no experience with wave tables before. I'm now looking to create some new sounds with the new features of Nanoloop 1.7 through wave tables but have no idea where to start. It's a little confusing.

How different are the wave tables in NL 1.7 to LSDJ and other programs? Would reading about the tables in other programs be a good place to start? What are some basic tricks and tips to start with?
