			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>jmr: wow that is super clean! definitely going to look into that mod.</p><p>animalstyle: I&#039;ve only used a Nomad a little but I recorded a track from an unmodded one and never noticed any noise like you&#039;re hearing in that vine clip - strange. Also, thanks for the tip regarding the Genny 3, I might have to pick one up one day. I&#039;m hoping to be able to play live with a couple of Gennys (Megadrives, actually) in the future. <img src="https://chipmusic.org/forums/img/smilies/heart.gif" width="15" height="15" alt="heart" /></p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>the screen toggle mod basically shuts the entire front PCB off so just look for the power coming into the front PCB and stick a switch where the power lead is.&nbsp; If I remember correctly its just a red and white/black wire that you can see clear as day.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>ah the nomad... so much bass and also a really REALLY shitty signal to noise ratio.&nbsp; here&#039;s a mod i found before i realized you can replace the whole screen.&nbsp; i installed a switch that cuts power to the screen.&nbsp; this mod is really cheap and removes about 50-60% of the noise in the damn thing.&nbsp; with a capacitor replacement i think this thing will be fully operational.&nbsp; so much noise is produced by these old, dead electrolytic caps. </p><p><a href="https://vine.co/v/OhF6w1KMmBJ" target="_blank">https://vine.co/v/OhF6w1KMmBJ</a></p>]]></content>
