Nitrotracker is sample based, but it's pretty decent for getting basic song ideas down

this is as close as i get to posting things when they aren't warrented, but here's a collection of tracks written in nitrotracker, this should be able to help you gauge what you can do with it, and weather or not it'll be useful for you
