It&#039;s free, and works great with these formats, better than most of the native SF players in the DAWS I&#039;ve tried. </p><p>Then, download Polyphone to edit and modify them. I&#039;ve made some custom envelopes to change how some of them sound, but my project is still mainly gonna be, use sounds from existing games in new and different ways.</p>]]></content>

I think the mario rpg clean guitar is gonna be the one, i&#039;m gonna change it&#039;s envelope a little to make it less clicky and muted.</p><p>thanks for the advice all!!</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I just finished replaying final fantasy 3. There is definitely some guitar in that. Shadows theme is acoustic guitar chords&nbsp; if I recall correctly. Also I think mystic quest had some guitar. I&#039;ll check some of the other carts I&#039;ve got. I remember from way way back in the day playing something that had that twangy thing you are talking about.</p>]]></content>

I can&#039;t think of a game with a sample like that, but you could make it yourself or have someone make it for you. The SNES &quot;sound&quot; is pretty much just a matter of sample rates, tight cutting / short looping, and that amazing cheap delay effect.</p>]]></content>
