Those two elements will at the very least add a framework to make everything feel more together.

For the snare try adjusting the shape in the noise instrument to give it some snap.

For the kick, I like to have a Triangle on the Wav channel, Manual mode, and then a table with a P command set to around CE and K command where ever it sounds best.
