Not sure if it works when slaved to pulse sync but I think it does

The SYNC OUT jack outputs a 5V pulse that’s 15 ms long at the beginning of each step.
If you connect the SYNC OUT jack of a volca series unit or the monotribe to
the SYNC IN jack of the SQ-1, the step clock of the SQ-1 is ignored, and steps
advance according to the pulses that are input. Use this if you want steps to
synchronize to the pulses that are output from SYNC IN

And then you can use the sequencer to do funky stuff to the mG?

Pan gameboy to mono, have a click signal going into the volca out which then sends midi slave info to the granny, and click on to the pocket op? no midibastl needed.

It can convert MIDI to pulse, but not the other way around. Prof's suggestion of using something else as a mock master isn't going to work either because since you don't want to use MIDI to sync LSDJ, LSDJ HAS to be your master. Basically, there's no way to do what you want to do with the gear you want to use.

You could also probably use a volca sample in lieu of the granny to stay in a click only ecosystem.

...but is the click signal still effective if I were splitting it with a passive mixer in order to feed into 3 devices? Wouldn't it lose amplitude?

If everything is click synced, and lsdj is the master, what midi do you need? All you would need to do is this:
