So, I have a question for all the modders here.

A couple of times I've contacted sellers of modded GBs about getting backlit or frontlit GBAs, but they seem to need a GBASP screen to do this.

Wouldn't it be possible to modify a cheap LCD screen like say this one instead of having to destroy an entire GB?
