when in the phrase screen, change the instrument number to a currently unused one before switching to the instrument screen to edit

Already tried it, but still the same outcome :/

Edit: I uninstalled and reinstalled it a couple of times, now it works fine ✌

I’m totally new here and was just about to start my creative process with lgpt on my PSP.
My problem is probably just a misunderstanding of the programs mechanics tho.. so if I start building a beat  and then swap the instrument, the previous made beat swaps as well, eventhough I’m in a different chain and phrase ( i.e. i started with the bass drum and wanted to add clapping, but when I import the clap sample the bass drum swaps to clapping as well..)

I hope somebody is able to tell me what I’m doing wrong :)
