Here is a "Japanese noise"-inspired lofi-track - very much different from the other, more up-beat, tunes:
https://soundcloud.com/realpingo/011011 … -01101110a

Dark and strange! I'm not sure myself if this track goes on the tape or not - but as a pledger, at least you can be part of that decision.

/ Pingo

Hi all,

New here and shamelessly start with some spam, sorry for that. :)
I intend to run a Kickstarter for an upcoming album, "Crunchy". Pre-launch here:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dr … sette-tape

Most of the tracks on the tape are available for free listening here:
https://soundcloud.com/realpingo

I have recently started to create a small home-studio setup, and currently use a Roland MC-101, Behringer Crave and Arturia Microfreak. I also use the softsynths Babylon and Memorymoon's really cool ME-80 (Yamaha CS80 "clone"). I also use C64 samples (and looking at aquiring a MSSIAH for future use) + samples from the fantasy console Pico-8.

I've always been influenced by Japanese noise (but don't do anything similar), 80's Italo disco (but it doesn't sound like that either) and minimalistic techno (which I might come closest to). But this album is 45 minutes of weirdness, chiptune-like stuff that I hope a few of you might enjoy...

So there... :)

/ Pingo
