Jose was involved with next thing co since its inception. Fwiw I had both the standalone chip and the pocket chip at some point, I don't know if I got them from next thing co or from someone on here.

It seems like they went out of business for normal reasons in a slightly shady way, and then Jose bought the assets and tried to continue on moving to China and taking preorders for nonexistent products.

I guess I'm just old but wild to see the same old same old all these years later.
