I would say it's irrelevant to chip music. I mean it's vaguely related because chip music does have a bit of those video game roots, but other than that i think one doesn't have much to do with the other.

Listened to some of it, not as cliche as I expected. I actually like "Metametroid" a lot.

Slight change of topic: Is this kind of thing a compliment to chipmusic? Or is it purely nostalgia? Discuss...
