			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I have an NES sample set I made several years back. It&#039;s free and you wouldn&#039;t have to credit me or anyone if you use it. It only works for .it modules, but I could probably remake it as .xm for use in milkytracker. (milkytracker doesn&#039;t do .it, right?)</p><p>But here it is anyways - <a href="http://www.hotdogstorm.com/bucky/samplepacks/NES_Template_V1.zip" target="_blank">NES .it module Sample Set V1</a>.</p><p>The idea behind my set is that you&#039;re starting with a blank module but all of the instruments are already loaded in. The reason for this is because individual .wavs are pretty useless without the looping data in the tracker they need... so my set can <em>only</em> work as a &#039;blank&#039; module file. Kinda sucks for people who don&#039;t use .it... but oh well.</p><p>There&#039;s a lot of samples because I tried to include some basic effects that sample-based trackers aren&#039;t good at.</p><p>Or, since you&#039;ve mentioned you&#039;re a windows user, you could try out <a href="http://www.modplug.com/trackerinfo.html" target="_blank">modplug</a>. I think it&#039;s very user friendly, and although I&#039;m not familiar with milkytracker, I imagine figuring out modplug shouldn&#039;t be hard if you understand how any tracker works. I need to put some music in my game but I want to do it by myself. I am looking here for sampled instruments to use in my tracks, but I know samples are copyrighted, so I would like to give credit, too.</p><p>I am looking only for that artificial, fun analog instruments like that used in platform fantasy games. Thats because I want to make classic game music like seen on the Nes, C64 and Megadrive fantasy games. Nothing very original, more cute than spectacular, really.</p><p>I am looking only for free collections, because I cannot afford to pay for one.&nbsp; I have found many collections on the web, but they have a limited set of drums, doesnt have any chords or doesnt have any special efects like vibrato and metallic (like that cracks and keymakers found on dubious sites).</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Everybody calm down, ok?<br />L.J., he reason people are upset is that too often people who need music for a video, or a game or whatever it might be just pick a random track and don&#039;t ask or even credit the artist. So there&#039;s a bit of a zero tolerance against that. So, first rule, always ask before using a sample unless it was obviously meant to be shared.</p>]]></content>
