I was gonna suggest contrast as a piss-take, funny to hear it is that. Glad you sorted your problem!

So my firsts NL 1.5 came in today... been looking forward to it for about a year, and my see through pocket doesn't want to read it.

The model is MGB-001.

With, or without the cartridge in the screen gets a black square around it and the red power light goes on... but that's it, nothing more happens; is this fixable? I'm pretty sure its the old pockets fault not the NL cartridge which is brand new... but I was wondering if there was anything I could do to fix it? Maybe open up the plastic and clean / repair some connections etc? Anything? I'm dying to use my NL :C
