It would be fun to have a cheap guitar like that to try installing some sort of fuzz/distortion right inside the body. I think they're mostly hollow, which is good for mods, bad for sound!

As a guitarist, I just can't get used to lowered tactile input of buttons opposed to strings. sad

the PowerGIG guitar looks really funny too, I'd be interested to look inside and see what's driving it as it's a working electric guitar as well as a game controller.

If nothing else all of the music games brought us tons of midi-capable toys.
