Okay, so in my quest looking for some kind of connection somewhere, I decided it was a good idea to try and see what happens when you connect the little points behind where you plug the ribbon cable in to the pre-pot audio points...mostly it was fine until I played with the far left side, then i saw some sparks and the back PCB doesn't work anymore 
Luckily I have one spare, but other than that I'm out...there's some cool sounds from the right side, but stay away from the left, as far as you can!!! I'll post anything I find that sounds cool later, I'm still fooling around on the right side with different resistors
