I'm not up and running with LSDJ and an original GameBoy and am having a blast! One problem I ran into, however, is that the wave channel sounds basically like ass. There's grungy off-pitch feedback when I use the synth feature or drums. The TR-707 drums really make it go crazy. Kitch-Bent mentioned that it could be due to a flaky CPU as some of the CPU models had flaky WAVE out? This GameBoy has an "A" revision CPU so sounds like I'm SOL there

But I was wondering if there is a correlation between the PCB revisions and CPU revisions as well as which CPU/PCBs work the best for music makins? I mention PCB since Kitch also mentioned it is easy, for say, an eBay seller, to look at the PCB revision by just taking the battery cover off.

Any advice there?
