			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I always thought post pot <strong>was</strong> soldering to the legs of the pot? Cause it changes the volume if you solder to it. You have to solder along a bit more.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>There&#039;s also better solder points for pre-pot. You don&#039;t have to solder to the legs of the pot, you can follow the trace a few mm and solder to a better pad. Somewhat petty, but eh. Stronger connection nonetheless.</p><p>There&#039;s just not much point in post-pot, because you should be running through a mixer or some sort of amp anyway, and you&#039;ll be able to control the volume through that.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;ve been reading up on the Pro-Sound mod and most of the documents I have found call for wiring it up after the pot (so you can control the volume). But that seems a bit odd to me if the purpose is for recording, because the output should be controlled by your mixer or in post?</p><p>I noticed ASM mentioned in another <a href="http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/4166/need-help-with-prosound/" target="_blank">post</a> that you can connect the wires before the pot, which makes the most sense to me.</p><p>The question I had was if wiring it up before the pot ends up causing any distortions or any undesirable affects? Otherwise it seems like the way to go (can keep the GameBoy speaker connected this way too).</p><p>?</p>]]></content>
