I've been trying to get something like this together for a while, and here we go. First of many, I hope. I'm sick of playing for mp shows or whatever with a bunch of bands that sound nothing like us and didn't bring anybody, either. We've got a lot of new music coming out this year and I'm gonna try to smarten up. Plus I'm stoked to see saskrotch play.

guess its worth mentioning in here, 2 weeks from today there's a gig with me, 8cylinder & ccdm (plus 5 non-chip related acts) http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/7514/ … -esc-more/ some of you who havent come to chicago gigs before(and are over 21) should come out and say hello.. if this one goes well, guy booking it will do more gigs, probably not chip-only gigs though.. still, better than nothing

Just spitballin here but if it is difficult to find a venue for chip-only gigs, I suggest looking into/ contacting the Galloping Ghost arcade.

Its the one of the largest arcades in America. I know they do rent out parties at night, it being an intense arcade and all I think booking a chip show wouldn't be the hardest thing in the world.

As a matter of fact this is where I first heard chiptune, Saskrotch played an amazing set and I fell in love with the music ever since.

Haha well I would prefer someone figures out something regular either in Wisconsin or Illinois. my town is pretty much dead center of Milwaukee and Chicago, about 40-50 minutes in opposite directions along the same highway.

I once played a living room with Anamanaguchi, Saskrotch and Infinity Shred (great time!). Chicago police showed up during the beginning of my set and effectively broke up the impromptu loft-massive. Thankfully I was having "technical difficulties" so those fine officers didn't really know what the hell was going on.

Sidenote -
