			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>How this works: a floppy drive has head that is moved by a step motor, you can make it move the head one position up or down. If you doing this at certain rate, you control speed of the movement, and height of &#039;tone&#039; it produces. You can do similar things with some other devices with step motors, like printers and scanners, but they usually aren&#039;t provide direct control on the step motor, so you would need some extra hardware, and for a floppy drive there is everything that needed in a PC.</p>]]></content>
