Hi, I just came across this thread, and I'm really glad you guys are enjoying the compilation!

I have to admit, I'm not familiar with everyone who contributed to the project either, but I think sleepytimejesse (who coordinated the project) mostly selected people who had dabbled with SNES-style music in the past. He's done quite a bit of SNES stuff himself:

...I guess those are actually the only people I know anything about, aside from the folks you mentioned.

Blitz Lunar was originally going to contribute to the project, but then his computer exploded or something.

As for me, I've been writing music and hanging around various VGM communities for ages, but I don't think I'm very well known (partly because I never release actual albums ). I appeared on Big Giant Circle's Impostor Nostalgia album, and I've done music for a few indie games, but everything else I've released has pretty much been isolated tracks.
