Here's a LOL-worthy drawing I made for getting a line-in and line-out on DS. Anything that takes a headset will work the same way. The important part is the two resistors to change the mic to line level:

EDIT: Actually I suppose the resistors change the line level input to mic level, not the other way around.

this looks interesting. I've been trying to find schematics for a line-in for recording in android for some time now- without luck. If it's possible to add effects with sunvox and then output the signal, that's even better!

do you have the schematic for the converter/cable?
