I've made a number of chip patches over the last year or so using the THOR modular synth in Reason that I think are pretty cool, so I thought I might share some with you guys and hopefully anyone else who's made patches could come forward and share some of theirs!
One day not too long ago I had been listening to a lot of demoscene type tracks and really focusing on the production ... I kept noticing a particular technique involved in creating really awesome sounding pulse leads that involved not just changing the duty cycle on every note but also moving the panning around constantly ... so I created a patch that does this randomly using Sample & Hold, and also has fade-in vibrato/tremolo. It's a hell of a lot of fun to play on keyboard.
