I have to second this - Parodius is pretty great. There used to be a site where you could get random, B-grade Famicom games for $2 a piece, and one of the ones I got was Parodius. SO FUN

basically what abrasive has done with drag and derp, but the cost will be relatively high. ems carts will do just what you need them to in the meantime.

Better safe than sorry, especially if you're going to play a show. It's only gotten stuck for me once or twice, and i just re-transfered the roms onto it, and it worked fine. but you never know!
