some suggestion:

~move userlist to bottom and search bar to top (single coloumn design)
~in recent topics, move the forum name so it is underneath the thread name instead of next to it
~maybe an option to hide avatar and then have the username above the thread reply instead of next to it

that's all i can really think of but it would help a lot i think

i have tried to hack around this with userscripts and stuff...

but since we already have two selectable stylesheets, maybe a new one would be the easiest way to do this. chipmusic.org NETBOOK EDITION. basically the site doesn't look great in horizontal resolutions below about 1200px or so, and a lot of people have horizontal resolutions not much more than 1000px, or they are using tiling window managers, or anything else. so a simple "minimal" css would be lovely.

i know not many people have the access/skills to do this (maybe two people?) and the people who can do it are super busy and have other priorities

but doesn't hurt to ask i think (if you don't ask you don't get etc)

so think about it
