A sav file is the contents of the battery SRAM on the cartridge. gqs is a save state file. It is a snapshot of the full emulated state of the machine. It's as if you freeze the current state of the machine (memory, CPU, graphics) instead of turning off the "Gameboy".

All save files i get from gambatte are .gqs files and i guess those are save files of the emulator. Can lsdj read them too?

Is there any known way to get .sav files out of the gambatte emulator? I'm struggeling with the save file transfer from my PC to my EMS USB Cartridge.

I already downloaded LSDManager and found the thread about transferring .sav to the cartridge.
