Of music - probably not wink but maybe of 50hz synthesis. wink
The problem is - the zx48k here wasn't the AY case.

Without AY-interface, ZX Spectrum 48K has 1-bit transducer. BEEPER.
It can play any synthesis You want - but then the computer mostly doesn't keep tempo.
Tempo is a crucial factor while recording track-by-track, You know.

There are only 2 beeper engines keeping tempo fine - Orfeus and SpecialFX (it's almost the same engine actually because - as far as I know - the Ofreus is a Czech variation of SpecialFX).

It has only one tone (in 2 channels) and it's actually a very simple tone.
And using filters - You must have "something to filter-off". smile Not too much of it, in SpecialFX nor Orfeus. wink
And that's what I mean sayin': "using ZX48 as a synthesizer was the most challenging project in entire album". smile The biggest amount of work while post-production due the the simplest synthesis and the lowest sound-resolution (1-bit only).

Yupp, I like this program very much, it looks very stylish and is not too hard in usage. Has its disadvantages, true, but somehow I prefer it over the maxYMizer.

It might give You an idea what was going on while making the album and also - how interesting is to use ancient synths/samplers like our humble comps/consoles are - as professional instruments, hehe. smile
As You can guess, using ZX48 as a synthesizer was the most challenging project in entire album.
