You can get a starter pack at Costco with 8 or 12 AAs and a few AAAs and a charger.

they come pre-charged, and are meant to keep their charge for much longer - 'usbcell' rechargables also seem handy 'cause you can stick them straight into a USB port to charge!

I have a couple of those old Mad Catz battery clip things if anyone wants them - not sure how much juice would be left in them, or how you're supposed to know when they're fully charged?

I was missing something, because I don't know much about electronics. I basically just went to the Wikipedia page for AA batteries and was going off of that. I was also finding posts on other sites from people saying the 1.2V batteries wouldn't work at all, so I thought it was a bigger problem than it actually was. Then talking to a friend about the discrepancy they mentioned going over or under was bad for electronics, so I was just getting frustrated since I didn't know what a voltage regulator was.

The good is, I now feel comfortable getting some rechargeable ZR6 batteries.

These are best! If you use these with DMG-01 and compose probably 2 hours per week, it can live probably 4 months! smile
