So this would be the first time I've put out any chipmusic, it's all from a DMG and I started working with LSDJ a few months ago now.

I feel the composition of each track is were they're lacking (and probably the mixing too). Pretty much every track, I'd come up with a cool little riff, and try and turn that into a full song, but every time I'd need to make a new verse or new section, I'd struggle to make it tie in to the original 'riff' or group of melodies. Sometimes I'd end up liking the new section so much (yet it didn't work with the original song) so I'd turn it into it's own separate song.

Is there any advice you seasoned pros can give to a newb regarding these things? (Or other issues you hear?)
