Hello, I a trying to contact moderators regarding chipmusic.org questions.

Let me first start off by saying how happy I am seeing that this site is still available. I remember when I was first introduced to chiptunes, this site not only inspired me to write music, but the community was very welcoming.

Now that I am starting my path down game development (in particular, retro 8-bit/16-bit), I was hoping to move away from the personal/immature profile I had and create a fresh start. However, I was sad to see that Chipmusic.org is no longer accepting new profiles. I was wondering if this is a timed occurrence or if the site is no longer being supported.

I have always appreciated sites that focused on the community and the music rather than advertisements and accumulating views. If there is also a form of support (i.e Patreon) please let me know.

Debuting at Blip Fest 2012 in NYC, Radlib has been showcasing his tracks ever since. From Mexico City to Square Sounds in Melbourne, MAG Classic to 8Static Fest, Radlib has been around the block a few times. After much hiatus, we bring to you his first official release of originals on 4Banger Records.

Equipped with a couple SB16 compatible laptops running Impulse Tracker and Adlib Tracker 2, Radlib finds a way to the make the crowd move. Hopefully we can hear more from him in the near future.

Hey all, wanted to share something I've been working on.
MAXMXDS is a tracker module player for the DS that takes inspiration from PT-1210 on the Amiga.

It is built on the foundation of a previous, more primitive version I made, called XMXDS.

It does IT/XM/MOD/S3M via pre-conversion to .mas format (mmutil from devkitPro handles that).
It features up to 32-channel through MaxMod's software mixer.
You get:
- BPM control with nudge and lock,
- 8 cue points plus a hot cue
- Beat synced rolling loops with quantized divisions
- Beat synced stutter,
- Transpose (+- 12)
- Per-channel mute/solo with oscilloscope views
- Pretty audio reactive visualizers.

Songs need converting with mmutil included in Maxmod distributions (e.g. devkitpro nds-dev). There's a handy python script included for mass conversion.

To try it on emulator, it requires "embedding" songs inside (I haven't found a workaround for that) so you'd need devkitPro to build it using "make emulator" instead of "make native".
Github release instead is a flashcart compatible (assuming the flashcart supports libfat, which most should). Just put the .mas song files in a foler at the same level of the .nds file.
