Maybe because they are awful and a travesty of real tango which is beautiful. "Bajofondo" is material for ignorant gringo tourists visiting our town.
We have a ton of these "fusion tango" bands (electronic-ized tango) and they all blow.

I think that I found one of my new favorite groups.

I bought the Bajofondo Tango Club album, which blew my mind, and the Bajofondo Remixes was absolutely incredible.

I'm not sure how many other people are in love with them, but maybe if the number is large enough, we can start a comp?
