calmdownkidder says:
Another vote for Stevens here, the man is a genius!

Also, gwEm! http://www.myspace.com/gw3m

FINALLY, I'd (http://www.myspace.com/thetinfoilhatbrigade) love to play in exchange for a pass, it looks like a cool event! My music is a lil' noise driven though, not sure it would go down too well! but I love embarassing myself on stage too, so win-win for everyone, right? :S

oh_cat says:
Howdy all.

Brand new here and just wondering if anyone could help me out...

I'm helping run a big web design conference in London this May, and I'd love to feature a few chip musicians in the line up, to break up the lectures. Feels like it would really fit the bill and the crowd - bit techy and super creative - I've just got a feeling it'd go down brilliantly

So, my question to you lovely forum dwellers - do you know anyone who'd be willing to do a 10 min live slot in exchange for a conference pass? There would be HEAPS of exposure (600+ attendees all tweeting their thumbs off,) a lovely big stage, screen, LED lights, live streamed on the internet... Plus the event itself should be fun - lots of great design sessions, free lunch, free after party with beers on us...

Would also consider screening a short chip film / video, if anyone can make some recommendations!

More details here: www.futureofwebdesign.com

Aaaand you can contact me direct at - cat@carsonified.com

Please feel free to pass the message on
