They actually draw way too much power for what they need because they are designed to be run off a car battery. You might consider trying this mod and run them off usb power:

Using a mah cable to bridge two connections for 200mah. It seemed to work more reliably at higher amperage but I think this is the minimum. It would work sometimes at the 100mah connection as well, but i felt safer running it higher. Now I dont use it at all!

I have ordered a couple of these little beauties for VJing and I am trying to keep my box of gear as simple as possible and I was wondering if it was possible to run both of them off a single PSU. The specifications on the site are a little on the vague side, stating 12v DC but not them amps.Would it be possible to power them off a single PSU? If so what type of PSU would I need to use?
