Yes, they are definitely completely automated.  It's even worse when ebay is involved.  Definitely get a live person to fix it for you.

I think PayPal disputes are automatic, and that you shouldn't manually return money by making another payment. Assuming that's what you did.

I would try and get a hold of paypal by phone. Whenever I had any issues, I was able to get a human on the other end of the phone line.

Someone on here filed a paypal dispute with good intentions but somehow two disputes were processed and one $60 item turned Into a negative $120 balance on my paypal account.  I refunded them and I still have -$60 from the second one?  So confused here and was wondering if anyone could help...
