I recently built an LSDJ-MC2 and I wanted to know what settings does LSDJ need to be on in order to play individual notes from a MIDI Piano?

I'm currently running the latest version of LSDJ. I've seen several youtube videos of people achieve this, but I'm having a bit of trouble on my end.
So far, I can get the sequencer/clock going forward (while in MIDI mode), but that's about it. Are there any additional settings I need?

I've searched this same question around forums, but found no solutions.
