While trying to remove the polarization film, I believe I broke the connections in the ribbon cable for the rows of pixels across the screen, I was wondering if anyone else ever had this problem, as it was extremely hard to remove the film without flipping the screen over.

Should I have just lifted it up a bit and tried to pull the polarization film off while the film was still facing down?
