I've never personally had noise issues with mine; I've used one of their bass synths, a chorus pedal and one of the digital delays before without any real problem. I do know that people complain about noise occasionally, I've just never personally had bad luck. Hey there! Running an EQ has really helped me boost things like my leads (I play bass guitar along with it and have a live drummer, so our synth leads function as guitar leads) and you can do it MUCH cheaper. These Behringer pedals are totally sufficient and sound pretty good for the money, and they're easily replaceable if yours should fall victim to some sort of accident.

MXR is generally solid, though i seem to remember them being pricier than the Boss pedals, which to me would mean (as long as space isnt a huge concern) that a rack unit makes more sense if youre willing to pay that much.. also the GE-7's pop up used for $50-60

I like the MXR M-108 10 band eq pedal. They have one that has stereo outputs(mono input) that I havn't tried (MXR KFK-1) for not much more money than the M-108.

i used to use the Boss GE-7 on some nanoloop stuff for extra EQ control. you're correct that guitar EQ pedals are mono (at least all the ones i've ever seen), though if you really want/need more eq control you could always move towards an old Boss GE-10 (though theyre expensive) or rackmount stereo EQ (could go all out and get a dual 31-band unit)

Hi,

I came across this EQ pedal 'Mesa Boogie Five-Band Graphic EQ Pedal' which has a slider with +/- 12db of boost or cut at precisely 80Hz. On the flip side it only seems to be monophonic.

I was thinking it would be helpful to use with a mixer for live sets which have no Low,Mid, or High eq knobs to give a kick drum a bit more boost. Has anyone else used this pedal/hardware before? What do others think?
