I do refer to all of them all the time (i stick on épisode 4 and 5 at the moment) and beyond the obvious technical quality of the information, I truly enjoy the writing style!

style will most propably turn arround ethno-dub that sometimes goes on punky jungle/dubstep
beats should be very simple (kick-snare-HH) not to orvecome tablas and cajon... bass should not get into (too much of a) conflict with the didgeridoo...

Wav Synth is the hardest but most awesome part about LSDJ in my opinion.
If it's not loud enough, crank Start Vol en End Vol.

1) Loop 1 note (length F, speed 6+ depending on BPM).
2) Go to synth screen.
3) Shift one parameter up and down.
4) Repeat step 3 forever.

I sometimes use samples of real instruments on the WAV channel. I don't think it would be a good fit for bass tones, though. The samples lose clarity and you can program some really great bass sounds on the WAV channel already.

do you guys know where I could find some cool patches of different wav basses, in order to get a ''mental library'' of possible sound palet ?
have no access to the patchbook app...

I will have to create/modify my rythms and bass lines quickly during our first jam sessions (not started yet, waiting to get more comfortable on LSDJ) to match with the other instruments (tabla, guitar, flute, didgeridoo, yeah!), so i'd like to select some ''standard'' settings that could pass in various situations (and fine adjusting later at home) in order not to loose a lot of time/credibility...

stupid question :  did anyone ever try to use bass samples on wav channel with good result ?
