I think they all sound pretty good. You can at least use them to get samples of the combo-waveforms, those are the only sounds that you couldn't just use any other VST to get. Well, maybe table-style sounds won't be that easy either.

I don't know if you should haha. I think the two best tracks to show the diversity of the plug-ins are Growth and Late September.  Stay away from the rest lol.

Good use of SID drums. I rather enjoyed that first track. Second track is good too. Haven't listened to the others.

I really like dr sid for percussive sounds.

I have some stuff on my soundcloud that uses both plug-ins exclusively, but the music is really bad hahaha.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up grabbing a copy of SIDizer and haven't noticed any noise associated with it. I did download Dr. SID as well but I haven't gotten around to messing with it.

deflemask is the easiest to use . But it's hard to make the instruments

PURE6581 and Dr. SID. For being free plug-ins,  you can get some really great sounds out of them. Dr. Sid. is all drums and sfx. I use pure for melodies and such, but you can make percussive sounds if you want.

I highly recommend Plogue's "Chipsounds". This was the Perfect VST for my ideas.
Bought QuadraSID many years ago, however I did got the sound how i want it and there seems to be some minor bugs. I don't say that Chipsounds are no With bugs, but its only minor. FL Studio 64bit can be the reason why QuadraSID is bugged, It seems to reset the preset I have chosen when I load my Projects.

SIDizer is also good, Clear Nice sound, but there is this noise when you are not using it. Bought it 6months ago, and have not used it much cause of that squeky sound/noise in the background.

I've been on the hunt for an accurate and easily understood interface SID VST for awhile now. I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations or comments on any VSTs?

Ultimately I may scratch using a VST altogether and just write stuff in HivelyTracker but I sure do love Renoise.
